The brief and objectives:
Espoon Vuorikallio is located on a rugged, pine forest site. The buildings were designed to complement the surrounding nature of the residential area of Tillinmäki.
Rocky diversity:
The site is divided into two parts, separated by a natural state green area. The views were elaborated by placing the buildings on the highest parts of the site. The views are best seen from the second floor where the main living areas, and terraces are situated. The housing co-operative consists of row houses, duplexes and detached houses, totaling on 33 apartments.
Through the eyes of the designer:
"The architecture is modern wood construction of white blocks punctuated by colorful accents of balconies and entrances." - Tiina Antinoja
